Saturday I sent 7 packets of family history information out to members of the McLean (Lyons) family, people I have never even met, and by Monday was surprised to already have two email responses. What a wonderful experience. Today I sent 6 more packets.

A team blog would be a good tool for family history researchers. If you have people working on research in different parts of the country they could post reports to a blog to keep everyone apprised of new information and significant discoveries. Of course, all members of the blog team would want to subscribe to the RSS feed so they wouldn't miss anything!
I thought a family blog would be a fun way to share info too.
